It’s family fun for everyone this week as the Easter Egg Hunting season begins. There are lots of fun activities around from Surrey to Vancouver and lots of places in between. Here’s a quick roundup for you to highlight some egg-cellent Easter-themed activities in the area:

Surrey Nature Centre’s Eco-Easter Egg Hunt. North Surrey’s forest is already a magical place for those who love nature, but adding a hunt for Easter eggs kicks it up a notch!  On Saturday, March 30th, from 10am to 3pm, take a picture with the Easter Bunny, take part in egg-themed crafts and other wholesome family entertainment. Known as “the birthplace of reforestation in BC”, this area plays host to fun outings all year round — enjoy it, rain or shine, in the morning and afternoon. >> Hop to it

Surrey Museum’s Easter Animal Fair. Easter isn’t just for bunnies! Bring the whole family and meet  and meet rescued animals from local animal shelters. It’s happening Saturday, March 30, from 1pm to 4pm, and all ages are welcome to come and visit the rabbits, reptiles, dogs, parrots and more. >> Hop to it

Maan Farms’ 1st Annual Easter Eggs-travaganza! Farm rides, face-painting, prizes and a big friendly Easter Bunny will be around to greet you on March 30 and 31st, from 11am to 4pm, at 790 McKenzie Road in Abbotsford. It’s well-worth the drive to this extremely family-friendly event. Just remember to bring your own basket to collect the eggs! >> Hop to it

Fort Langley Easter Scavenger Hunt. The fun starts March 31, 10am – 5pm with an Easter Egg Scramble (for kids 5 and under) 12pm & 3 pm. Egg hunting, arts & crafts, and the opportunity to explore around one of Canada’s most famous historic forts, makes this an unforgettable experience for your kids. >> Hop to it

Easter Egg Hunt in Burnaby at CG Brown Memorial Pool. Happening March 31 from 12-1:30pm, this is an Easter Egg hunt with a twist: the Easter bunny’s been leaving the eggs at the pool! Let your kids make a splash as they enjoy some fun times in the water. >> Hop to it

Stanley Park Easter Train in Vancouver. Hop on board for some holiday-themed excitement from now until April 1, 10am to 5pm, for a miniature train, egg hunts, crafts and even a visit from the Easter Bunny (who else?).
