New Year’s Eve 2013 Events,
Where will you be ringing in 2013? We’ve got a few suggestions for celebrations with a touch of class, in Vancouver, Surrey & Burnaby!
Masquerade Ball. The Carnival NYE at Library Square in Vancouver delivers an unforgettable experience. Nothing says classy like a masquerade — though, technically, the format’s been a little updated for the occasion, with DJ P Deady instead of an orchestra playing the waltz. Dinner and champagne packages are available, but really, just being here dancing the night away will be a great send-off to 2012.
Boat Cruise in Vancouver Harbour. Celebrate New Year’s Eve on the high seas (Well, the water, anyway). There are a number of options for this, such as the MV Harbour Princess out of Coal Harbour, which will take party-goers out to a night of fine dining, champagne and live music while taking in the beautiful sights of the city skyline.
Glitz and Glamour in Burnaby. The Glitz And Glamour New Years Eve bash at the Hilton hotel in Vancouver Metrotown promises an evening of music and dancing on four floors. Experience anything from salsa and merengue to sassy saxophones and old-school party fun.
Dinner, Drinks and a Festive Night Out. Enjoy a fine meal with a $30 set dinner menu (canapes are served at 6 pm with great food to follow!), good company and the opportunity to quaff some of the best beers around at the Central City Brewing Company in Surrey — drink in the merriment this New Year’s Eve. Just remember to book ahead! Also, get a great room rate for a nearby hotel, and avoid making the post-midnight trek home.
