Perfect Places to Watch The Playoffs,
Have you been claimed by playoff fever? Whether you’re a die-hard, all-season fan or just hopping on the bandwagon, we’ve got some suggestions for great Surrey pubs to catch all the play-off action at!
Enjoy an award-winning Red Racer beer & uncork your excitement at one of Canada’s top brewpubs – Central City Brewing! Located in the heart of Surrey’s urban core, Central City Brewing will be offering a special every game night (tonight’s is a Burger & Beer for $12.95). With some of the best brews in town (seriously – this place holds the title as Canada’s Brewery of the Year!), big screens, and an even bigger menu, this place is sure to brew up some play-off pandemonium!
Any of the Joseph Richard’s Group establishments are sure to be buzzing (and maybe even have you buzzing) with play-off festivities. Try the Townhall in South Surrey, The Henry in Cloverdale, or Edith & Arthur in Fleetwood, and watch the game with one of their 40 craft beers in-hand!
It doesn’t matter what team you’re cheering for – Big Ride Brewing will have the sound up for all Canadian hockey team play-off games. Take in the action on 15 HD screens, and enjoy a daily special, along with one of their many craft beers. They’ll also be doing player cards, so if your player scores, you get a shooter (appropriate – I know). Read more about Surrey’s original brewpub.
Fresh Restaurant & Lounge, located in the Sheraton Vancouver-Guildford Hotel, is also getting in on the action. View the game on a large projection screen in the Fresh Lounge, or on any of the 3 HD screens. With 1/2 price wings, $4 draught beer specials, and a $14 burger & beer combo on game nights, watching hockey has never been more delicious.
There couldn’t be a better night to kick-off the playoffs, because Wednesday is wings & beer night at Original Joe’s South Surrey & Cloverdale locations. Get an Original Joe’s beer for just $5.25 and pair it with a pound of wings (choose from 16 flavours), which are half-off! No matter the night, Original Joe’s will have specials going on. I’ve watched several play-off games here, including a nail-biting OT, and it’s always been a blast.
